How to play
TOASTO is a two-player kitchen for liquidity. One player brings SOL, the other brings $TOAST. Nobody has to hold both sides.
When both slots are full, the toaster pops one shared concentrated-liquidity position on Orca Whirlpools and hands each player a seat. The position is held by the TOASTO program, not by either player. Fees cook on the position while it stays in range.

The match
A deposit waits in the kitchen until one arrives on the other side. While waiting it earns nothing and can be withdrawn anytime, free.
Every deposit carries a price tolerance (default 2%). If the TOAST/SOL price moves further than that before you are matched, your deposit is parked instead of matched at a bad price. A parked deposit is still yours: re-queue it at the current price in one click, or withdraw it.

Two single-asset deposits become one position and two tradable seats. (Example amounts.)
Matching is first in, first out by value, and only between deposits on the same crisp level.
03
Crisp levels
Crisp sets how wide the price range is around spot. Darker toast means a tighter range: more fees, more impermanent loss.
LightWide range. Low fees, low IL. Stays in range longest.
GoldenMedium range. Balanced fees and IL. The default.
DarkTight range. High fees, high IL. Needs attention.
04
Seats
Each matched player receives a seat NFT (a Token-2022 token with a supply of exactly 1). It represents their side of the position, like a save file.
Seats can be transferred or sold without closing the position. Whoever holds the seat when the position closes, or when fees are claimed, gets that side's share. A seat carries one extra power you should know about: the TOASTO program is its permanent delegate, so the program can burn both seats when the position closes, even though only one side signs. It can do that only inside a close (burn-rule close or neutral exit), never otherwise, and the admin has no such power.
Closing takes both seats. Each side says which price it accepts: one seat clicks Ready to close (a price band that lasts 1 hour to 7 days), and the other can then Close now with its own band. If the price is outside either band, nothing happens. If you hold both seats, you can close anytime.
If the other side goes quiet, Ask to close. They have 3 days to make you a fair offer: a Ready to close that lasts at least a day with at least ±4% price tolerance. If no such offer is standing after 3 days, you can take a neutral exit: the position is closed and each side gets its share by value at open, in kind, with no price input at all. A standing fair offer holds the neutral exit off for at most 7 more days, so nobody can lock the other side in forever. Whether an offer counts is judged once, when it is made, so it can't be faked later by moving the pool for a moment.
05
Burn rule
The side whose asset moved more carries the IL. If the token moves more, slot 2 carries it, and slot 1 gets their full deposit value back as long as the position covers it. If the token rises instead, slot 2 is made whole first.
Payouts are in kind: each side receives its share of whatever the pool returns, a mix of SOL and TOAST, with no forced swaps.
Payouts are pulled, not pushed: closes, fees and raffle prizes are credited to your TOASTO balance, and you withdraw it with one click (SOL arrives as native SOL). Nobody can block a close by refusing a payment.
Past roughly −75% on the token, the position can no longer cover slot 1 in full. The cap applies and slot 1 receives less.
The burn rule reads the pool price, which anyone can push around for a moment. That is why a burn-rule close needs a two-sided price check: the price at close must sit inside both seats' bands. The 3-day neutral exit uses no price at all, so it can't be gamed either.

$TOAST
$TOAST is the kitchen's token. Stake it in the Pantry to earn a share of fees in SOL, and plug in your wallet to join the weekly Raffle.
New kitchens (pairs) open by community vote.
07
Risks
Program risk (the TOASTO program and the Orca Whirlpools program it relies on), token volatility, and out-of-range periods where no fees are earned. The TOASTO program is unaudited. The program is being built in public and is not deployed yet.
Price risk at the edges: a tight tolerance can leave your deposit parked, and a wide one accepts a worse price. A close can stall until the other seat answers, for up to 3 days before the neutral exit opens, and a standing fair offer from the other side means you close at the market price (burn rule) instead, or wait up to 7 more days. If the two sides never agree, the position ends like plain shared liquidity (neutral split). The neutral split ignores how the price moved since open.
Seats are NFTs the program can burn at close (permanent delegate): if you sell or move a seat, the new holder gets that side's payout and the old one gets nothing. Payouts sit in your TOASTO balance until you withdraw them. The admin can pause new deposits, but can never move user funds, positions or balances; withdrawals never pause.
The raffle uses commit-reveal randomness mixed with a later slot hash: the admin cannot pick the winner after seeing entrants, but could refuse to reveal (then anyone can roll the prize over after 3 days), and a block leader has some influence over slot hashes. Nothing here is financial advice.
Never deposit more than you can afford to lose.
